Apartment, 113 m2
Saint-Petersburg, Russia
The apartment is intended for a young couple with a child. Was purchased in February 2022 with finishing materials.

The main task was to refine the existing repair to perfection so that it would meet the needs of the new owners. We replaced the tiles in the hallway, added classic elements, stucco, partially changed the lighting, sockets, repainted the walls and provided the maximum possible number of storage systems without compromising space and aesthetics.

The lack of upper cabinets in the kitchen was one of the customer’s main “wants”. For the backsplash we selected porcelain tiles from the same collection that we already had on the wall in the living room.
Due to the absence of upper cabinets, integrated sections for plates and cups are located in the lower cabinets.

The kitchen, like all cabinet furniture in the project, was made to order, according to individual dimensions and design. In the living room area, space was allocated for a cabinet with a glass door and lighting, where glasses for drinks are beautifully placed. We also gained some storage sections due to the kitchen island.

In the children's room, we made two cabinets for books and school supplies on both sides of the bed, allocating a small space for open shelves that replaced the bedside tables.

To accent the wall with the headboard in the bedroom, we used a muted blue color that matches with the soft beige shade of the bed and curtains. And to support it we used furniture of the same shade on opposite side.

A folding sofa was placed in the office in case guests arrived.

Since the apartment was already finished, we decided to leave the background tiles in the bathrooms, but enrich the overall design by replacing furniture and fixtures.
In the bathroom, it was necessary to increase the size of the cabinet and countertop from the wall to the bathroom itself and install cabinets above the WC to gain the maximum amount of storage space.

It was decided to make the cabinet hinged so as not to visually clutter up the floor area and achieve a light effect. We designed the drawers to be tall enough to accommodate all the razors and toothbrushes without taking up counter space.

We also replaced all the bathroom fixtures with black ones and used black accessories to add a graphic touch to the interior.

In the toilet, we replaced the tiles behind the WC with more interesting ones, and to support it we made a cabinet with honey-colored walnut veneer, adding solidity to this space.

By the way, the customers left the poufs from the hallway, like the sofa from the office, and the bed in the bedroom from their previous project (which I also did), and in 7 years these things have not lost their relevance or appearance at all!
