FERMSKOE
Apartment, 65 m2
St. Petersburg, Russia
The project of this apartment was developed for a young family with a three-year-old child.

The first thing I heard from the customer when we first met: I want a warm, cozy, homely loft! Which later actually turned out to be even more Scandinavian, with only small elements of that same loft in the form of black frame furniture and a little country rustic (this is especially evident in the bathrooms).

Actually, there were a lot of wishes! And we had to go through a bunch of options and throw out a million ideas. Even so, everyone got satisfied.
... The main wishes of the customer, which I had to include in this project, were the visual unification of the entrance hall, corridor and small kitchen-living room. And insulation and the addition of a balcony with a seating area, which, if necessary, could be transformed into a sleeping place. The entrance hall had to get as much natural light as possible, while retaining its function without sacrificing practicality.
We solved this issue by demolishing the partition and placing a kitchen peninsula in its place, which serves as this very border of the zones.

Another "mandatory" wish was the podium. It was almost unrealistic for such a small space. And to keep this idea seemed insane. But even here the customer did not give up. As a result, we managed to win even additional storage systems and hide a pull-out bed with a mattress in this podium.

At the request of the customer, the overall range of the entire apartment was designed in light beige-brown shades with natural wooden textures.

The bedroom turned out to be very peaceful, calm, as intended. From the direct overhead light, it was decided to turn in favor of the same "special evening atmosphere" that disposes and insists on sleep. Therefore, only overhead rotary lamps located on two sides of the bed got to be the main light sources.

For the same reason, by the way, there is no TV in the bedroom, and its usual place was taken by a composition of a rack with additional storage systems, which are never superfluous either!
